In the new exhibition WE ❤️ you will discover an exquisite selection from the impressive Heidi Horten Collection. Discover three thematic focuses that uniquely reflect the museum founder's passion for art.
Begin your journey in the first area dedicated to Expressionism. Here you will find works by renowned artists such as Franz Marc and Emil Nolde, who represent German Expressionism at its best.
In the next section, unique art treasures from the 1960s and 1970s await you. US and Western European artists are in the spotlight here, including greats such as Andy Warhol, Yves Klein and Henri Magritte.
The third part of the exhibition opens the door to a fascinating encounter between painting and sculpture. Here, works by Francis Bacon, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Damien Hirst take you on a journey into the tension between figure and abstraction.
